Nottingham security firm give back by supplying charity with free security
The security company currently employs 100 team members
A Nottingham-based security firm is giving back to the local community by supplying a charity with free security.
Foremost Security, based in Russell Place, selected Soft Touch Arts to receive the free on-going services as part of a long-term agreement.
The Leicestershire-based charity uses arts, media and music activities to make positive life changes for disadvantaged young people and support them to develop creative, social and employability skills.
The security company currently employs 100 team members.
Matt Prince, business development manager at Foremost Security, said: “We’ve offered Soft Touch free key-holding and alarm response services and are excited to see what this new relationship may bring on both parts.
“The charity carry out some amazing work and we’re delighted to be able to support them in any way we can.”
The agreement stemmed from the charity’s networking event that the security firm attended in June.
Christina Wigmore, business strategic director at Soft Touch Arts, said: “Soft Touch Arts are really impressed with the approach and service provided by Foremost Security.
“They attended a special event we were holding to engage with local businesses and offered to provide a key holding and alarm response service for our building as pro-bono charity support.
“They are a really professional company and as well as providing a great service they are giving back by supporting a local charity.”
Since the affiliation began, the security firm has already acquired new business in Leicester as a result.
Previous and ongoing charity work from Foremost Security involves the sponsorship of Nottinghamshire football team, Dunkirk Juniors, and participation in the ‘Leicester Big 10K’ race for The Lullaby Trust.
