Foremost Security Case Study – New College Nottingham

Posted by:

New College Nottingham is one of the largest further education colleges in the UK, so where security is concerned, they need a company that is both professional and reliable.

Head of the NCN Properties and facilities team, John Lee, employed Foremost Security four years ago to take care of their keyholding and alarm response requirements.

John saw an initial problem when there was an increasing amount of false alarm activations.

“We were finding many false alarm activations that required a check round and a re-set of the system. My team were responding to these and this was costing the college a significant amount of money. It was working out that everyone was on call every three weeks. It was a huge inconvenience.”

It was then that John set out to find a reliable security provider. New College underwent a tender process and Foremost Security were successful. Their competitive prices and response times set them apart from the other businesses involved in the process.

Matt Prince is Foremost’s Business Development Manager:

“We love supporting John and everyone involved at NCN with their security requirements and saving them from the hassle and risk of being called out during the night. It’s great for Foremost Security to be working with such a well-known college in Nottingham and would like to do so for many more years to come.”

The college now also use Foremost Security’s static guarding services to support their own security team during the day.
